Eileen Garrett Proves Survival of Death

For proof of survival of death, Eileen Garrett (1893 – 1970), founder of the U.S. Parapsychology Foundation and another brilliant medium, is best known for her work on the crash of the R101, a giant airship built by the British Air Ministry in 1930 to reach the far-flung corners of the Empire.

A sister ship, R100, had been built by a private company and was a triumphant success but, being the result of “committee mentality,” its sister ship, the R101, was overweight and underpowered. However, to spite the German Zeppelin program, Lord Thompson, the arrogant Air Minister at the time, overruled the engineers and insisted that her maiden voyage to India should begin on October 4, 1930. He died when the ship went down in France with the loss of all passengers and crew, including the pilot, Lt. Irwin.

Two days after the disaster, Eileen Garrett was holding a session intended to contact the spirit of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1858-1930), creator of Sherlock Holmes, who had died a few months previously. However, a different voice came through Mrs. Garrett and said:

The bulk of the airship was too heavy for her engines. The engines themselves were too heavy. The useful lift of the airship was too small. The gross lift was badly computed. The idea of fitting new elevators was totally mad and the elevator had jammed. The oil pipe was plugged. The mixture of carbon and hydrogen as fuel was absolutely wrong. The airship never reached its cruising altitude. The same thing had happened in the trials. The trials themselves were too short. The crew did not know the ship properly. The airscrews were too small. The fuel injection system was bad. The air pump had failed. The cooling system was bad. The bore capacity was bad. The fuel feed was unsatisfactory. The fabric was waterlogged. The ship’s nose was down and refused to rise. The craft could not be trimmed, and nearly scraped the roofs at Achy. The weather was too bad for a long flight. The added middle section was too heavy for the engines. The superstructure of the craft was not resilient.

Some important people were at that session and word got out about Lt. Irwin’s appearance and his survival of death, so three weeks later, some military intelligence officers showed up for a sitting with Mrs. Garrett. Through Mrs. Garrett, Lt. Irwin informed them:The airship was too heavy by several tons, the construction was amateurish and the envelope was too porous. Movement of the airbags caused internal pressure that led to leakage. The girders were of unsound material, and the gas indicator was going up and down before the flight, which also suggested a leakage. The weather forecast was bad, and I and the other officers knew the flight was doomed and just hoped to get as far as Le Bourget and tie up there.

Air Marshall Dowding, head of what would later become Britain’s Royal Air Force, soon got involved and, on the basis of Mrs. Garrett’s mediumship, halted the airship program.

You may be wondering what the crash of a British airship in 1931 has to do with you. A lot, actually. This case involved privileged, technical information that the medium could not possibly have known through normal channels. Garrett's friends said she didn't know enough about aeronautics to fly a kite, let alone list 40 highly technical problems with the airship when no details had been released to the media about design changes on the R101. So there isonly one possibility – Lt. Irwin survived death in a fully functioning capacity, i.e., he wasn’t consigned to playing harps on clouds somewhere. Lt. Irwin was on the soul plane but still intimately involved with the Earth plane to prevent future airship disasters. Now, is it possible that Lt. Irwin is unique, and that he is the only human who has survived death? Of course not. I’ve edited dozens of books channeled by those on the other side, and read hundreds more. So what happened for him is exactly what will happen for you when your time comes. You will survive after leaving your body, and will be able to interact with those still on the physical plane if you so choose.

In this case, Eileen Garrett provides cast iron proof that we survive death.
