Why Do Souls Incarnate?

To answer the question: Why Do Souls Incarnate? we must understand that the overarching mission of your soul is to learn, grow and evolve in wisdom and understanding, and eventually progress to even higher dimensions. How does it do this? There are two main ways:

1. Soul plane growth. As we’ll see later, the soul plane is rich with resources (libraries, schools, etc.) to support your soul’s research, learning and growth, and it’s characterized by the all-pervasive frequency of love. Sounds good but there’s a problem. The fact that the soul plane is infinitely loving is a drawback because there are two things you can’t study under those conditions – free will and the nature of love itself. Now, true free will allows you to behave in ways that can harm yourself or another … but this is impossible on the soul plane because you can’t love people and murder them at the same time. Also, it’s hard to study the nature of love when you’re immersed in it (like a goldfish trying to study water), so you need a place to go where love isn’t automatic … which brings us to the second main way a soul learns.

2. Physical plane growth. Welcome to planet Earth, home to murder, rape, torture, betrayal, abuse (physical, emotional and mental), addictions and all the other horrors you can think of. These things are possible down here because we’re blocked from the pure love of the soul plane. The good news is that learning and evolution occur much faster down here because so much trauma can be compressed into a few short years. Yes, Earth life can be hell but the growth potential is incredible because, ironically, we learn faster from pain than from joy.

Supporting Your Soul

Your soul established a part of itself as “you” for some very specific purposes, which you’re living out, so it’s natural that your emphasis is on you and your lifetime. However, if you’re on notice that time is running out due to illness or aging, it would be good to widen your focus to include the rest of your identity – your larger soul and all your “soul siblings” across the timeline.

Answering Why Do Souls Incarnate? involves learning all you can about why your soul incarnated as you for a few decades and where you’ll go afterwards would help dispel any fear of death. There are many ways you can learn about your soul’s purpose. For example, you can consult reputable psychic mediums who can “interview” your soul and relay messages from your soul back to you. Alternatively, you can begin a direct dialogue with your soul in meditation. Also, you can ask it to speak to you through synchronicity, i.e., meaningful coincidences, such as three people separately telling you something, such as a relevant book you should read.

Why bother probing into your soul’s purpose in incarnating as you? Because it allows you to focus and direct your efforts to be the best rung on the ladder you can be. To get “the most bang for the buck” during your life, which then becomes a balancing act between outer world influences and inner guidance from your soul and spirit guides. Even if you’re not facing your own mortality, this guidance is useful in making major decisions, such as where to live, who to marry or live with, occupation, etc.

So the bottom line answer to Why Do Souls Incarnate is that Earth lives are the soul's fast-track to learning and growing.
